This fillys Sire, Morricone is a sensational young Stallion, he brings together the very best of German breeding. With his exceptional temperament, easy rideability, expressive paces, powerful hindleg and perfect conformation, Morricone is the complete package. He was the champion and crowd favourite of the 2014 Oldenburg Licensing, and was the runaway winner of his performance test the following year, with four scores of 10 and nine scores of 9 or 9.5, for a spectacular total of 9.33. He was awarded the dressage Hauptprämie in 2016, in recognition of his outstanding first crop. The Fillys Dam Sire Fabriano was the winner of his performance test with excellent scores in both dressage and jumping. He possesses rhythmical, flowing movements, which also convinced at the stallion licensing. His technique over the jump is to be much admired and shows ability and aptitude. Knees tucked into his throatlatch and a lovely bascule account for his popularity as a sire of noteworthy hunters. He was also awarded high marks for rideability at test, demonstrating a pleasing and uncomplicated temperament. In addition to the great stallions Ferdinand and Absatz in the third generation, Fabriano also goes back to Augustinus xx and Steppenwolf, known for their ability and willingness to perform. Fabriano has been especially popular with American breeders, for his dual purpose tendencies and his ability to sire hunters. His foals have done consistently well at inspections.
