Click that and decide if you want a free or featured listing then follow the easy steps to create your comprehensive profile and start connecting with potential buyers.

Yes you are able to edit the horse records depending on the SporthorseData plan you have subscribed to.

Non Registered users are not able to edit any horse records in the database.

Registered users can edit any field except the Sire and Dam fields but only for the horse records that they have added to the database.

Free Trial users can edit any field except the Sire and Dam fields but only for the horse records that they have added to the database.

Pro Silver, Pro Gold & Pro Gold VIP users can edit any field except the Sire and Dam fields for all the horses in the database.

Team Members can edit any field including the sire and dam records for all the horses in the database.

If you need to make changes to any of the horse records and you don't have the appropriate permission then please submit an error/update report and one of the Team Members will make the changes for you.

It is very easy to add a photo or movie to the horse profile page.

First make sure you are registered and logged in (Only registered users can add photos and movies)

Next go to the horse profile page of the horse you want to add a photo or movie.

Click on the Photos & Movies green button above the pedigree chart (See Screenshot 1)

This will take you to the Media page for this horse where you will see the following green buttons
'Add Photo' Add Movie' 'Add YouTube Link' Add Facebook Link' (See Screenshot 2)

Click on any of the buttons and follow the instructions to upload a photo or movie. (See Screenshot 3)

The database is set up so that a user is only able to edit any of the horses that they have added.
We do this to stop a user making malicious changes to the horse records another user added.
If you would like to be able to edit your horse's record please send us an error report with the details and we will update the settings allowing you to make the changes.

For a Stallion to be used in a test mating he must be in the database as an “Active Stallion”
If he is listed as only a “Stallion” or "Male" he will not be found in a search to be selected.
From the horse pedigree page
Sex:Male       WILL NOT BE FOUND
Sex:Stallion  WILL NOT BE FOUND
Sex:Stallion (Active)   WILL BE FOUND
If you find a horse listed as “Stallion” or "Male" that you want to use in a test mating submit an error report and we will update the record.
Also when choosing a Stallion or mare you don’t type in the grey boxes but click the Green buttons ‘Select Sire’ and Select Mare’ then type in the name of the horse you are wanting to use.

If you click on the "Tail Line" Green Button on the pedigree page

you can see the Tail Male and Tail Female lines following back through the generations in both the sire side and the dam side. See examples:

In the Pro Gold version you can also analyse the pedigree up to 12 generations.

You can add this detail in the comments section on the horse pedigree page.

If it’s a horse you have added to the database on the new website you will be able to add or update new information yourself.
If it is a horse that another user added and you want to add new information or correct mistakes just click on the "Report Error and Updates" link on the pedigree page of the horse you want to update, that will send a message to the Team Members who will update the pedigree.

To add horses to the database you need to be registered first. Once you are registered go to the database landing page  https://sporthorse-data.com/pedigree Enter the name of the horse you wish to add in the “Search or Add Horse” box.

If the horse is in the database you will be able to select it. If it is not in the database you will see the message “If the horse you're looking for isn't on this list you can add it by clicking the Add Horse button.” Then click the Blue “Add Horse” Button and enter the details of the horse you wish to add. That’s all there is to it.

You are only able to change photos or movies for any new horse you have added to the site. Only the database Team Members can delete or change photos and movies of existing horses as users were changing and deleting other users photos. If you want to delete or change any photos or movies click the Report error and Updates link on the pedigree page and send us the details and we will remove them. We can also change the display order of the photos or the photo used as the main photo on the pedigree page.

On the pedigree pages if you put your mouse curser over the Sj1, Sj2 etc. you will see the full description.

To update your subscription is easy. You can do it from your user profile page in your account settings Make sure you are logged in then

1. Go to your user profile page in your account settings

2. Select Subscription tab

4. Click 'Manage your subscription' link

5. You will be redirected to the Stripe portal where you can manage your payment options, update or cancel your subscription, see billing history etc.

To cancel your subscription is easy. The quickest and easiest way is do it from your user profile page in your account settings  Make sure you are logged in then
1. Go to your user profile page in your account settings

3. Click 'Manage your subscription' link

or you can complete our standard cancellation form or send us an email to [email protected] with your details.
We require your username, email and the date your subscription started.
You don’t need to provide a reason for cancelling but if you do it will help us provide a better service.
